JiLi333 No Signal Mid-Round: What to Do on Your Phone

Check Airplane Mode and mobile data first, then the SIM, then ask your carrier about an outage, then move to better coverage.

No signal in the middle of a round means the lobby page on your phone has lost the line it needs, and the game screen stops answering. It is a phone-side problem in the JiLi333 mobile browser setup, and it comes down to one of four causes.

Work down the four causes below in order. Each one has numbered fixes from Apple’s and Google’s own help pages, and the last two sections cover what to do about the round and what to try if nothing worked.

No signal on phone: the first check

Status bar showsApple’s meaning
No Service or SearchingNot connected to a cellular network
SOS or SOS onlyNot on your network, but emergency calls work through other carrier networks

Before the causes, confirm what the phone is telling you. Apple says that “No Service” or “Searching” in the status bar means the device is not connected to a cellular network.

On a Pixel, Google says a triangle icon at the top right shows network signal strength, and the more filled in it is, the more signal you have. Google’s Play help adds that a data indicator such as 2G, 3G, 4G or H should sit next to the bars. Turn Wi-Fi off first if you are checking the mobile side, since the indicator may not show while Wi-Fi is active.

Cause 1: airplane mode or network settings

Airplane Mode turns off cellular and Wi-Fi. Apple’s page says turning it on and off can force a signal refresh, and Chrome’s help lists Airplane mode as a cause of loading errors.

  1. On an iPhone, open Control Center and check that the Airplane Mode button is off.
  2. Open Settings, tap Cellular, and make sure Cellular Data is on.
  3. Turn Airplane Mode on for at least 15 seconds, then turn it off.
  4. On Android, open Settings and tap Network and internet, or Connections. Turn Airplane Mode on, wait 10 seconds, and turn it off.
  5. On a Pixel, open Settings, tap Network and internet, then SIMs, and make sure Mobile data is on.
Problem

Airplane Mode is off and mobile data is on, but the lobby still hangs.

Fix

Restart the phone, which both Apple and Google list as an early fix. If the screen will not respond, use the force restart the iPhone.

Cause 2: the SIM card

A SIM that is missing, inactive or poorly seated looks exactly like no signal. Google says that if your carrier name is grey with the message “No SIM”, you either have no SIM or it is inactive.

  1. On a Pixel, open Settings, tap Network and internet, then SIMs, and select your carrier. Turn on Use SIM if it is off.
  2. On an iPhone with Dual SIM, open Settings, tap Cellular, tap the line you want, and check that it is on. If it is off, tap Turn On This Line.
  3. With a physical SIM, remove the tray with a SIM ejection tool or small paperclip, take the card out and inspect it.
  4. If the card is damaged or bent, ask your carrier for a replacement. Google says dust can be wiped with a microfiber cloth.
  5. Put the card back and check for service.
Problem

The SIM does not fit the tray or was moved from another phone.

Fix

Apple says to ask your carrier for a new SIM card if the card is damaged, does not fit the tray, or was transferred from another device.

Cause 3: a carrier outage or account problem

Sometimes nothing on the phone is wrong. Apple says issues with your carrier or account can affect service, and that only your wireless carrier can access and manage your account details.

  1. Ask the carrier to confirm that your account is active and in good standing.
  2. Ask whether there is an outage in your area.
  3. Ask whether your device is blocked or barred from cellular service and is on the right data plan.
  4. On an iPhone, open Settings, tap General, tap About, and install a carrier settings update if one is offered, while connected to Wi-Fi.
Problem

Everyone around you has the same problem.

Fix

That points to the network, not your phone. Switch to a Wi-Fi connection you trust, or wait and check again, and do not keep restarting the phone.

Cause 4: weak coverage indoors

Google’s Pixel help says that with little or no signal you should try switching the location, and the Play help says to move to a different area or go outside if no data indicator appears.

  1. Move to a different spot or step outside, then look at the bars again.
  2. Check for a data indicator next to the bars.
  3. If the problem comes up a lot where you are, Google says to contact your mobile service provider.
  4. If you must stay put, connect to Wi-Fi. If another phone can share its connection, the mobile hotspot as a backup covers how Personal Hotspot and Android hotspot work and what they cost in data and battery.

What happens to the round that was running

The phone cannot tell you how a round was recorded. Once you have a connection again, reopen the lobby in your browser, log in, and open the game you were playing.

  1. Open the game’s own history or info screen.
  2. Read how the last round is listed.
  3. If it does not match what you saw, take a screenshot before you play on.

Nothing on this page promises what the game will show, because that is decided on the game’s side.

Still not working?

  1. Restart the phone. Apple and Google both list it as an early step.
  2. Update iOS or Android, then check carrier settings on an iPhone.
  3. Contact your carrier, and tell them what you already tried.
  4. If a low battery came with the problem, read the battery life and Battery Saver, because Pixel help says Battery Saver turns off 5G.

FAQ

Why does my phone say no signal when the bars look fine?

Apple and Google both separate the bars from the data connection. Google's Play help says to look for a data indicator such as 4G or H next to the bars, and to move outside if none shows. Turn Wi-Fi off to check the mobile side.

What happens to my round when the signal drops?

Your phone cannot tell you. Reopen the lobby once you are back online, log in and open the game's history or info screen to see how the round was recorded.

Does Airplane Mode really fix no signal?

Apple says that if your cellular network is available you might be able to reconnect by turning Airplane Mode on for at least 15 seconds and off again. Google's Play help gives the same trick with a 10 second wait.

Wala akong signal sa loob ng bahay, ano ang gagawin?

Lumipat ng pwesto o lumabas muna, gaya ng payo ng Google. Kung walang data indicator sa tabi ng signal bars, malamang walang coverage sa lugar mo.
